FROM THE STUDIO//: Just days before we escaped on our new year’s break, we were working hard on the store opening for the first stand-alone Comme des Garcons pocket store in Australia. Part work part play, the event was a celebration of the iconic Japanese brand finally coming to town and settling into the narrow laneway of Rankins Lane (just off Little Bourke Street).

The launch event was attended by both Australian and international blogging royalty, media personalities and a clutch of Melbourne cool kids. Yvan Rodic from Facehunter, Stef and Jess from How Two Live, Jamie from Oh Jamie and Pheobe Montague from Lady Melbourne just to name a few.
